Stand: Oktober 2008

Oktober 2008. Las Vegas Boulevard. Sonne. Hitze. Staub. Massive Bauarbeiten. Aber sobald man den Vorhang des Baulärms und des Staubes lüftet und hinter die Kulissen blickt, ist es, als schaue man in eine andere Welt.

Werfen Sie mit mir einen Blick auf das Modell des Cosmopolitan Resort & Casino und teilen Sie die Visionen der Architekten und Designer.

Wenn die Anlage Ende 2009 direkt am Strip eröffnet wird, bietet sie zwei Tower mit insgesamt ca. 3000 Hotelzimmern, Suiten, Penthouses und Apartments – alle mit einem fantastischen Ausblick und fast alle mit -am Strip untypischen- Balkonen. Säle und Konferenzzentren werden zur Verfügung stehen. Ein Casino ist dann nach modernstem technischen Standard eingerichtet. Eine Einkaufsarkade mit zahlreichen Läden und Restaurants wird zum Verweilen einladen. Ob es Theater, Spa, Fitnesscenter, Nightclub oder eine Lounge sein soll, von der aus man den Strip beobachten kann: Im Cosmopolitan werden sich auch diese finden. Weiterhin wird den Gästen der Cosmo Beach Club mit unterschiedlichen Bereichen zur Verfügung stehen, in denen sie die Seele baumeln lassen und einfach relaxen können – hoch über dem Las Vegas Boulevard.

Schaut man sich Modelle der geplanten Räumlichkeiten an, erkennt man die Genialität des Projektes:

The Madison (ca. 65 qm)

The Hudson (ca. 66 qm)

The Park (ca. 158 qm)

Die in der Größe unterschiedlichen Räume sind sehr exklusiv eingerichtet. Schöne Farben, bequeme und gemütliche Möbel. Ein Balkon.

Besonders beeindruckend ist das Park-Modell. Wie auch die beiden anderen, ist es in schönen und dezenten Farben geplant, die Möbel werden zum Verweilen einladen. Allerdings wird die Lage sehr speziell sein. Die Park-Suiten sind nämlich für die jeweiligen Ecken der Etagen geplant und besitzen daher einen sehr großen Balkon zu zwei Seiten. Auch hier sind große Fenster vorgesehen, die von der Decke bis zum Boden reichen. Glasschiebetüren führen auf den großzügigen Balkon hinaus, der einen atemberaubenden Blick auf Las Vegas bieten wird.

Sicherlich geschieht noch viel, bevor das Resort Ende 2009 eröffnet wird. Designs werden vielleicht wieder verworfen, Einrichtungsgegenstände umgeplant, doch letztendlich wird das Cosmopolitan Resort & Casino das bleiben, was es jetzt schon ist: ein edles Unterfangen, stilvoll und adäquat für Gäste, die sich in gehobener Atmosphäre wohlfühlen möchten.

October 2008. Las Vegas Boulevard. Sun. Heat. Dust. Heavy construction. But – if you are able to lift the curtain of noise and dust and look beyond – backstage – behind the scene of it all, it is like a miracle unfolding right before your eyes.

Have a look at the model of the Cosmopolitan Resort & Casino. Come and share the visions of architects and designers.

Upon opening right on the Strip end of 2009 the Cosmopolitan will feature two towers with about 3000 hotel rooms, suites, penthouses and apartments – all with awesome views and almost all with a terrace – which is very special for a hotel on The Strip. Ballrooms and convention centers will be available. A casino with state-of-the-art technology. A shopping arcade with exclusive and brand-name shops and dining destinations will cater to the various tastes. Ask for a grand theater, a spa, salon and fitness center, ask for nightclubs and lounges: The Cosmopolitan will have them all. As well as the Cosmo Beach Club, which features different areas for fun, rest and relaxation – high above Las Vegas Boulevard.

Having a look at the room models it is easy to recognize the genius behind the project:

The Madison – 705 square feet

The Hudson – 709 square feet

The Park – 1702 square feet

Although different in size they are all exclusively decorated: Beautiful colors, cozy furniture. A terrace.

The Park is just breathtaking. Being decorated in the same beautiful style the location will be very special. Park suites will be located in the corners of the towers and therefore feature the largest terraces on both sides. As in the other suites there will be expansive floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors leading to the grand terraces, offering an awesome view of Las Vegas.

Of course there will be still a lot of planning and constructing going on before the resort will open at the end of next year. The designs will possibly change, furniture might be rearranged. But finally the Cosmopolitan Resort & Casino will remain the same in one respect: a noble venture, stylish and suitable for those who want to make themselves comfortable in a luxurious ambience.
